Broke down in the middle of French nowhere. 120km more and I would have been home! 22km more and I would have been in Switzerland. Car, I’m selling your broken a$$!
After a rather strenuous bike tour the day before, we decided to indulge ourselves in the thermal baths of Plombières. However, as illustrated below, it wasn’t always pleasant to watch.
On a bike tour through the Vosgues with Boris (the moist), Greg (the navigator), and Tankred (the crash pilot). The mood was constantly good, despite a rather unpleasant start (5 degrees, pouring rain) in the morning. On the picture, Boris is still grumpy because I soaked him by perfectly hitting a huge puddle.
In the background, the lake we rode around despite the fact we didn’t have to – thank you, Greg!
The lake view at our weekend destination “Gerardmer” in the Vosgues, about 50km from the French-Swiss border. An epic rainfall hit the place about 30min later.
