INSEAD goes Karting

The ISRT (Italian-Swiss Racing Team) in its favorite position (admittedly before the race). After the race, and after heroically retaining the team’s undefeatedness, all members were able to maintain the smile for many hours to come. Even and especially throughout an entire meal at Melun’s local Mc’D, including a painful “walk through” session.

Pain-Relief-Program in Plombières

After a rather strenuous bike tour the day before, we decided to indulge ourselves in the thermal baths of Plombières. However, as illustrated below, it wasn’t always pleasant to watch.

58km Bike Tour around Gerardmer

On a bike tour through the Vosgues with Boris (the moist), Greg (the navigator), and Tankred (the crash pilot). The mood was constantly good, despite a rather unpleasant start (5 degrees, pouring rain) in the morning. On the picture, Boris is still grumpy because I soaked him by perfectly hitting a huge puddle. :) In the background, the lake we rode around despite the fact we didn’t have to – thank you, Greg!

Calm before the storm: Gerardmer

The lake view at our weekend destination “Gerardmer” in the Vosgues, about 50km from the French-Swiss border. An epic rainfall hit the place about 30min later.
